How does settlement work?
Your transactions are settled securely through the Central Bank of Costa Rica.
DTR — Real-Time Debit
For colones transactions. Funds are debited from your account and credited to the destination account the same day.
PIN — National Interbank Payments
For dollar transactions. Interbank transfers processed through the BCCR system.
Most transactions are completed on the same business day. Operating hours depend on the BCCR calendar.
