How does our service works?

Our services operate through the National Electronic Payment System (SINPE) hosted by the Central Bank (BCCR).

Currency Exchange

ARI operates as a Currency Exchange in accordance with the Reglamento de Operaciones Cambiarias de Contado (ROCC) and the Ley Orgánica del Banco Central de Costa Rica.

Regulated and Supervised

ARI is regulated and supervised by the Central Bank of Costa Rica (BCCR) and the General Superintendence of Financial Entities (SUGEF)

Request for Quote

When you sign in to the app, you'll land in the "Ventanilla" page. There you can see the bid/ask FX rates at the top, then a section with "Tengo", "Quiero", "Colones" and "Dólares" where you write the amount of the transaction, then a section with the registered bank accounts where you can choose which accounts to use, and at the bottom "¡Cambiar!" which you click once you are ready to execute the FX transaction.
